WHAT IS PNEUMA?

The word “Pneuma” comes from the ancient Greek word for "breath" reflecting the deep connection between clean air and life. Our Pneuma is  IoT-based Air Quality Monitoring System integrated with smartphones, protects health and the environment by using real-time sensors and cloud connectivity, it monitors pollutants like CO2 and toxic gases, sending instant alerts and insights to the phone

MAIN FEATURES

THE POWER OF PNEUMA

This system is designed to monitor air quality in real-time by utilizing IoT technology. The MQ2 and MQ135 sensors are used to detect the presence of hazardous gases such as smoke, LPG, CO, NH3, and other pollutants. The DHT11 sensor functions to measure air temperature and humidity, while the BME280 provides additional data in the form of air pressure and more accurate temperature and humidity measurements.

AIR QUALITY INDEX (AQI) GRAPH

AQI.webp

The Air Quality Index (AQI) is a scale used to show how clean or polluted the air is, and what associated health effects might be a concern for you. The lower the AQI, the cleaner the air.

What You Can Do to Stay Safe

✅ Check the AQI daily using apps or websites.
🏠 Stay indoors when the air quality is poor.
😷 Wear an N95 or KN95 mask if you need to go outside.
🚪 Keep windows and doors closed to avoid indoor pollution.
🌬️ Use air purifiers with HEPA filters at home or work
🚶‍♀️ Avoid exercising near roads or high-traffic areas.
🚗 Reduce personal vehicle use — walk, bike, or use public transport.
🔥 Don’t burn trash, leaves, or wood, which adds to air pollution.
🕓 Ventilate your home only when AQI is better (usually early morning).
